she was a german film director, photographer, actress and dancer, primarily known for being the director of 'triumph of the will', used as a nazi party propaganda film, and the 1936 olympics in berlin 'olympia'. she directed six other strong films which contributes to some thinking her the greatest woman director of the 20th century. 1902-2002, age 101.
