LBJ was the 36th president of the united states, following kennedy's assassination 1963. born in stonewall texas 1906, died in stonewall texas 1973. he is responsible for legislation that included civil rights, public broadcasting, medicare, medicaid, environmental protection and 'war on poverty'. he was the most constructive politician since lincoln to benefit the american underclasses than anyone. thank god!
